During Turin’s Art Week, RC supported the launch of Kuro Neko, a new independent streetwear label, which presented its first collection in the city. The debut centred on a unisex long-sleeved T-shirt made in Italy from recycled cotton, a production choice aligned with the brand’s commitment to small-batch, sustainable manufacturing.
Kuro Neko takes its name from Kuroneko, the 1968 Japanese horror film. The reference reflects the label’s aesthetic direction: minimal, clean graphics with a slightly raw edge. The founder, a London-born creative now based on a Greek island, has developed the brand with a focus on quality materials and accessible pricing despite limited production runs.
The launch took place at CREAM, a well-established Turin concept store known for its footwear, magazines and curated cultural products. The event attracted a cross-section of young designers, stylists and creative professionals, reinforcing the brand’s alignment with a culturally aware audience.
